In B. Ramer Tech’s fully equipped auto shop, featuring all the latest in automotive machining equipment, students learn both the theory and practical workings of the automobile engine. Course work in this one-year program includes engine maintenance, troubleshooting, precision measurement, reconditioning of cylinder heads and engine blocks, engine assembly and performance modifications. Students will take on shop supervisory responsibilities and may be eligible for a three-week internship in a local auto shop.
